Two-for-one on memes - This week only!

Aye Carumba!

I think Dan has finally taken one step too far into the depths of the mundane by tagging me for what may be considered the least inspired meme of all time. According to the rules, we are supposed to show a screen capture of our computer's desktop.

Stay with me here...

Dan selected me because, he claims, "I know he’s always up for a good meme." In other words, Dan thinks I'm a meme whore. Which is true.

But only this week because I'm busy with other much more pressing matters - like preparing for my 2-year anniversary next week. So, that being said, I will begrudgingly comply and show you my none-too-exciting desktop.

Besides the large picture of my new baby in the middle, my desktop is basically arranged into the following 4 quadrants:
Upper left - My kind of "catch all" of most used icons
Lower left - Microsoft apps and internet browser icons
Upper right - Work specific system connections
Lower right - Mulitmedia apps for music and video

Holy crap, that's 2 memes in one week! I think I need an intervention.

p.s. Made you yawn up above, didn't I?

Well I for one was absolutely riveted.

I heartily recommend you include this in your forthcoming "Best of the cloud" post.

Heck, you might even be able to get it published.

I always say, meme and hell both have four letters. Coincidence? I think not.

Cool desk top, very organized you know.

My comment was going to be, "Yawn." and then "Happy Anniversary, good month for it!"

But then I read Emma Sometimes' comment above and dude, you are so hoist by your commenter's petard. That comment is freaking hilarious. LMAO!

OMG...was that a porn link icon in the lower right hand of the screen?? Just kidding...

Wow, and I thought I was lacking for something to write about this week.

I'm still befuddled on how you did that....I'd have to describe mine, but that's WAY too boring.

dan - I think I saw Oprah checking it out today so I've got a good feeling about this.

emma - That's me, Mr. Anal desktop thank you.

julie - That's right... Emma is ALWAYS good for a laugh. She's been one of my buds the whole time.

ve - Don't be silly. I keep my porn shortcuts right on my desktop. See that one that says "Microsoft Office P..."? Exactly. That really stands for "Microsoft Office Porn." Kinky huh?

heather - Whoa, don't jump to conclusions that I am lacking substantive blog material. I could have written MANY hysterical and interesting posts. No really.

carla - It's easy. Just press the "Print Screen" key which will copy an image of your desktop to your clipboard. Then just open Paint or some other photo software and paste it in.

There. Now that you know how to do it... I showed you mine, so?

I need oxygen....nice pic. Good motivation for when you want to say the heck with it all I quit.

I'm pretty sure I can use that screenshot to hack into your computer.

Which folder do you keep you porn in?

gale - I'm pretty sure we all need oxygen. Let's see - food, water, oxygen... yep.

jenny - See my response to VE above.

Get that IE shortcut off your desktop RIGHT NOW!

mooselet - I keep that shortcut around for a couple of work applications that don't run very well in Firefox. Otherwise it wouldn't be there. Trust me.

i think you may need intervention for being so organized on your desktop ;)
