Techno-raunchy

Apparently Technorati felt they needed to include this request in the photo upload section of the account profile page:

Ok, you got me. It won't happen again.

But hey, thanks for the compliment. I think they're very special as well. {{{blush}}}

your private parts are always welcome at humor-blogs.com

That's the same thing they said to me at the drivers license office.

Think about why they have that tip.
Makes you wonder how many porn shots they must have got!

Aw. Isn't that special?

Dan said...

You should tell them that's not a penis, it's your head (although to be fair it's a pretty understandable mistak to make.

damon - Heh. How you would like to have the job of the person responsible for that?

heather - No... very special.

dan - Really? You're going for the head joke? Does that make it fair game both ways then?

Wow... how sad and sick do you have to be to add a porn shot to your Technorati profile???

Elizabeth said...

Hee hee, I think you should make a t-shirt out of that!
:o) Elizabeth

To quote The Incredibles, everyone's special, Jeff.

Obviously your head is tilted just a little bit too provocatively...

Jeff: I was going to tell you they were right and you should put a bag over your head or something, but then I logged into my account and I'm getting the same message!

What the ... ?

What we can't see is that you are wearing ass-less chaps in the un-cropped version of the image.

maureen - Either sick, or a male college student. Of course that's being redundant.

elizabeth - Cool idea! I'll call my merchandise "Very Special" wear.

april - Those folks are pretty wise.

ve - I agree. My tilt is often misintrpreted.

kathy - I'm thinking you're guilty by association. You gotta be careful who you blog around with!

mitch - Yeah, but everyone just knows it - that's the problem.

Did they think you're Howard Stern?

If I post my 'private parts' to a public site, are they still 'private'?

My yummy bits are very much public parts.

My technofukme avatar is a nude portrait, but one that's currently hanging in the Louvre. I'd love for them to censor it!

I don't get it? Were they seriously asking you to censor the cartoon drawing, or was it your head or what?

Jeff said...

whit - I could see that... I'm almost exactly like him.

bagel - That's very clever. Maybe you're the one who caused this whole thing in the first place ;-)

rick - I forget that not everyone is familiar with Technorati. That note they put up is for all bloggers who use their service. We have the option of uploading our pictures and apparently some bloggers choose to use non-family-friendly images. If you know what I mean eh, nudge nudge, wink wink.

Those Technorati people are so polite, but not much fun!

I wonder how many porn pictures they got until they decided to put up that message. Isn't YouTube enough for people? Sheesh!

On the flip side of the coin, I think some mommy-bloggers would garner more attention on Technorati if they used suggestive and inappropriate pictures.

Mind you, some might wanna make you toss your cookies too.

LOL!

Oh, I'd better go change my profile pic. Later!
