It's Party Time!

First up...

I'd like to wish my dad Bill a very happy birthday!

Bill with Jennine, my BBF (best blog friend since the beginning of time) and my mom Lois.

You know him well from the numerous comments he leaves here. Some extremely funny and relevant, others... well let's just say, others are pure Bill (yes, you can substitute the word "bull" here), mostly on topic but still just out there enough to have you saying, "wha?" Which is pretty much how it is to be with him in person and exactly why I love it that he hangs around here! Having him comment on a daily basis makes it feel like he's right here and not 150 miles away.

I've mentioned this before, but if you haven't read any of his signature "Billisms," I encourage you to read through a couple of these. They pretty much define him to a tee.

Anyway, Bill was 81 years young on Friday. I hope to see him soon to wish him a rousing Happy Birthday in person. But until I get that chance, I'm hoping a phone call and this post will suffice.

Besides, it's really hard to think of something to get him, so I could use the extra time.

Next up...

Let's all wish another good blog buddy of mine, Drowsey Monkey, a very happy 1st Blog Birthday!

SURPRISE!

Drowsey's BBF Olga, from Olga, The Traveling Bra, has organized a surprise blog party for Drowsey and has invited all her friends to wish her a Happy One Year Blog-iversary on their blogs. How cool it that?

Are you blushing Drowsey?

Drowsey is funny, smart, cute, blond... all the things I like in a woman. In fact, I think I'm in love with her and want to marry her!

No wait, that was young Jeffrey's thing. Sorry, I heard she likes pizza and has a TON of furniture and I suddenly had a flashback.

So feel free to wish Drowsey Monkey a hardy Happy Blog-iversary here as well. The blogosphere is definitely a better place with Drowsey's smiling face in it :-)

First, happy birthday Bill! :) Bill looks like Alan Alda! no? I think so. :)

And thank you for that surprise! And I was surprised...that Olga, she's sneaky! You know I love young Jeff ... always falling in love ... so much so that the old Jeff can't even remember half the women young Jeff loved (not that you're old)

:)

Thank you!

Yesterday was my dad's birthday, he turned 58. They started young.

But I don't think that's really your dad. I think that's Future Jeff messing with our heads.

Happy Birthday Bill!! I hope I look as good as you do when I reach your age! :)

It took me all dayto get back in here and make a bit of noise here... and I forgot all the other witty things I had to say.

So I'll stick to wishing your Dad a Happy Birthday!

Tell April to be careful what you wish for. I don't want her to throw rocks at her husaband!

Yesterday Rick drove us over 100 miles through a downpour to get to Jennines for a suprise birthday party for me. What a wonderful day we had with the Johnson family!!! Jeff and Charlie suprised us too, when they arrived with the grandchildren. Jennine and Charlie produced a magnificant lunch, Brandon made one of the cakes, Elley sang while Jenine took pictures. What a delightful group of people to share a rainey day with!!! Who cares that it rained and we never got to use the party tent.

Why is it that the older we get the harder we are to shop for? I got a great B-day card from my aunt that said "You're hard to shop for....so I didn't!".

Happy B-Day Bill...

Your dad is so cute. Can I marry him? Oh wait, that was YOUNG Teri's thing!

Yes, you were much inclined to marry the first woman who came along with a houseful of furniture, but I'm sure glad you waited for Charli. She's probably the only one who was worth a damn anyway.

I have about five pieces of furniture and they are all bedroom furniture. But I love pizza!

Happy Birthday Bill!
Happy Blogiversary Ms. Drowsey!

I keep listening to the news about getting online furniture so I have been looking around for the best site to get it all.
