A Year in Pictures

One of the things you'll notice about my blog is that I always like to try to include some kind of reference image or clip art in every post I write as another way to associate with the story.

Over time, these images roll off the page never to be referenced again.

Until now that is.

Here is a collage of
some of the graphics I've used over the last year or so. See if any of these cause you to recall the posts they came from.

Depending on how your browser is set, if you click the picture it will get even bigger.

And in case you'd really like to stretch your memory, I did the same thing here back in 2007.

UPDATE... Other than the fact that I'm lazy, I couldn't think of a good reason not to add an index for these pictures. So here it is:

jaffer - Thanks. I'm looking forward to the rest (and warmer parts) of 2009.

anon - Are you kidding? I'm not nearly that ambitious. Also, I've had a pedicure since then.

I found it interesting that the vegemite picture was right next to the toenail picture. Coincidence??

Wow! I am super impressed. I'm bookmarking this one for later to go through...probably tomorrow when I have a little more time. Tonight a Battlestar Galactica marathon (from Netflix) trumps you, sorry. ;)

I was so sure that you were going to have people start naming the posts... AND that you'd have people who actually knew them all (or were willing to look them up). I feel better now.

And NO I can't respond to all the posts. I have more email than I did when I was on maternity leave for three plus months with Mister Man. The best I can do is go to each blog and personally thank the people. I'm overwhelmed -- but in a good way.

OHHHH! I got a real word. Ability. I feel like I need to use it in a sentence. I do not have the ability to respond to each quote but will get back to that shortly.

people - So... you're saying that picture disturbed you then? I'm a little unclear on that. ;-)

heather - I like the toenails picture. I keep a blown-up copy on the breakfast table.

The aerial view of your house from the 2007 photos. I recognize it because I wasted an afternoon on that site looking up everyone I knew and every house I'd ever lived in!

My word is palaniad. That's a mythical fawn-like creature.

memarie - Ah yes... the great vegemite/marmite challenge of 2008. I'm still trying to get that taste out of my mouth.
