On with the show this is it!

*** UPDATE ***

The webcast I mentioned at the bottom of this post will NOT be broadcast live tonight. It is being recorded tonight but will be broadcast sometime in the near future. You can be assured that I will post a link when that happens.

So, those of you on the other side of the globe can now go to bed at your usual bedtime.

Holy crap... our concert is tomorrow night!

This show is going to be a blast, there's no other way to put it.

I haven't been this excited about something since I was five and waiting for my birthday. In fact, I clearly remember putting a giant calendar up on my wall and marking off the days with big Xs. I remember it so clearly because I did it last month.

Anyway, the CD is out, the band is ready and the keyboard player is psyched. Just about everyone we know is going to be there.  Can you tell I'm hyped? Is that fact that I woke up at 3:30 this morning and didn't fall back asleep again any indication?

In related news... THANK YOU to all of you who are buying our CD on our web site and those of you who are posting my widget on your blogs. We've actually sold quite a few so far! Watch for yours to arrive next week. I'll be mailing out the first batch out this afternoon.

Speaking of CDs... the local music reviewer wrote this in our paper yesterday as well.

With the exception of the fact that he didn't single me out as the single most talented musician he's ever heard, I'd say it's not too shabby.

Finally... BREAKING NEWS! I just found out this same paper is testing a new webcasting software and have asked if we would like to have our concert broadcast tomorrow night on their web site! So if everything works out you can watch us live from the comfort of your own home. How cool is that? Check back here tomorrow and if it's a go I'll update this post with the link to the broadcast.

Now, please excuse me while I go pace back and forth for the next 30 hours or so.

I so don't have the patience for this.

Oh wow, it sounds like you guys are going to have so much fun! I hope the web cam works and I can catch some of the concert! And congratulations on the good reveiw in the paper!!

You're not pacing! You're sitting there looking perfectly calm and cool. If anyone looked at you, they would never be able to tell. Now, maybe you're running in your head...arms flying, screaming, jumping up and down, but not on the outside! No, you're just sitting there, doing what ever, glancing around, smiling...and...then... "YEA! IT'S HAPPENING SOON! ALL THAT YOU'VE WORKED FOR, ALL THAT YOU'VE THOUGHT ABOUT!! YEA--CANT WAIT!!!" Is screaming between your ears!!
Should be awsome! See ya soon!-sis

I'll definitely be buying a couple of them. I have a friend in Duluth who loves your style of rock n roll, so I'm sending him one of your CDs. Maybe he'll show up to one of your shows.

I need to know when it is UK time. As long as it's before 3am I'll be watching. I'm all excited for you :O)

Have to go help brother's widow clean and stuff, so won't make the party, but hope to catch the webcast. Was really looking forward to the party, but you guys rock it without me.

elizabeth - Thanks! I hope the webcast works too. That would be a total riot.

sis - Hey... how are you watching me? I don't have a web cam on my computer.

idaho dad - That's be awesome. Duluth? I wonder if I know the guy. (that's what all us small-town folk like to say)

babs - Yeah, we'll be starting at 1:30 a.m. your time and the show will last about 1 1/2 hours so if we do it, make sure to tune in!

gette - Thanks... I'll be thinking about you.

I was actually planning to come up for that party, but it fell on the same weekend we had booked a booth at our home show, so I'm happy for the webcast. I gave you a shoutout on the blog. Have a great time!

I'm so happy for you guys, this is awesome. Better yet, possibly having the ability to watch it from home would be neat as well. Hopefully they can do it. Where can I get the widget? I'll advertise for you, I'm hoping to buy a copy soon, as well. gotta convince the boss first. :)

mom thumb - And have fun at your home show. It sounds like they're going to go ahead with the webcast. I'm just waiting for the linkage now. w00t!

jess riley - I'm thinking about having some covert tufu now myself. Maybe it'll become one of those good luck foods that I'll have to eat before every concert. Or not.

windyridge - I actually do break quite a few harmonicas. That's why I have about 20 of them. Hope you can make the webcast!

maureen - Help... my brain is too overwhelmed to remember! Uh... you wanted us to play Freebird?

roger - I sent you the widget code in your email. I'm thinking if you and the boss watch it live she'll let you buy one. :b

Congrats again Jeff! If I wasn't so old and didn't have 3 little kids I'd totally be there. Back in the day I was quite adventurous.

You KNOW the concert is going to be awesome. I can't wait to hear the webcast, and as soon as our 'discretionary income' situation loosens up a bit we'll be getting the CD as well. We'll be thinking of you tonight!

What a great experience! This band has possibley the world's greatest drummer and harmonic man, you will ever hear. The croud went bananas, can I say more.

And the crowd went wild!! Screaming, dancing by thier seats, jumping around the stage... It was like watching the beatles back in 1960! (Man, did I just date myself?!) Also, akin to a Springsteen concert, for the more current! The songs were awsome, the energy in the room was a million volts ..the band sounded so cool it just made you go crazy. All the talent they each have really showed. It was a great nite, and well worth the trip! Way to go Brother brother! sis
p.s. thanks for all the hospitality, too!!
