And if we're lucky, Debby Harry and Robin Leach may show up!

Hey everybody, I'm going incognito. Undercover. Opaque.

In other words... I'm making my blog private. At least until I find a job.

That's right, the old job search isn't going too well. I had a promising interview last week but received my rejection letter today.

Bleh.

I highly doubt it had anything to do with my blog, but I can't afford to take any more chances. Believe it or not, as strange as this might seem - there may actually be some people out there who don't find my stories as hysterical as you and I do. Can you even imagine?

Nonetheless, I'm not going to risk even the smallest chance that my blog is giving potential employers too much information, so starting in about 3 days I'm going to hide my it from the public. Fortunately for you, if you still want to follow my antics you can either tell me in the comments or send me an email at st.cloud.harmonicaman (at) gmail.com and I will gladly invite you back in. It will be like our own little Studio 54 where only the cool people hang out.

What's that? Oh yeah, I forget... you kids aren't as old as I am. Try this.

Don't worry though. As soon as I am firmly planted in my new office chair, I will reopen the View From The Cloud to the general public. Then... those of us who have been hanging out privately dancing to Rick James and Duran Duran together will be able to secretly snicker at all the inside jokes those other people don't get!

Heh... I'm laughing already.

Of course I want to still be a reader!!

Sorry to hear about the job search...it is rough out there! A friend of ours will be unemployed for the second time in a year, at the end of the month. More and more companies are losing contracts..

Sign me up! Really, it's probably prudent. You just never know. Too bad about the rejection letter. At least they let you know. Hated it when they would just leave you hanging.

If they don't find your stories hysterical can they truly be considered "people?"

I don't think so.

Good luck with the job hunt!

I must be old because I got the reference. And hell yes I still want to be a reader, so please let me hang with the cool kids.

Best of luck with the job search. I will sacrifice a small insect for you and send Vegemite to those who reject you.

I still read your antics! Should I delete you from my blogroll then? *sniff*

You'll land something in no time... You're too awesome not to! :-D

As much as you'd like to LEAVE me out...I wouldn't recommend it...the gnomes know where you live and they aren't that helpful during job interviews...

Wow, it'll be like a secret club.

Sign me up.

It goes without saying that I want to be let in, but I'm saying it anyway. {pounds on the door}

I'm really irritated about your job search. You should just be able to show up at the interview and say "I'm here!" and they show you to your office. We all know you're THAT good!

Please do include me in the private club, although from what I have heard of Studio 54...

I really hope that something comes your way, and if we get an opening, I will be sure to send it your way.

Remember to keep your chin up and have happy thoughts, you never know, it might work.

Thanks everyone...

I wish I could reply to all of these but right now I'm using every spare second I have to hunt for work. But I really appreciate all your support and am flattered that so many people want to continue to read my blog.

You guys are the best!!! :-)

Uncle Sam still hires for the army, even if you write a blog. Actually, I think that you should finish your biography of life on the road.

Please sign me up to be a reader! If we're going to be dancing to Duran Duran (excellent choice, btw), can I please put in a request for "Rio"?

I hope the rejection letter wasn't from the Little Falls interview!! That job just sounded so perfect, so I'm hoping you're still waiting to hear from them.

Whew.. you had me worried there for a sec. Then I put 2+2 together and got 4.

Then I wondered why I was doing math.

Then I realized it must be because of the ol' job search.

Thank you for the invite Jeff. Good luck!

Ooh, I feel like I'm in the VIP club!

Hang in there, Jeff. You'll find something great, I know it.

Don't let JD in. She's bad news. She walks around naked all the time. Oh, wait. You might like that.
