Our town parade was rained out too; a severe storm warning delayed it by 35 minutes and cut off the last 15 or so floats because of the giant splattery rain and lightning. Though I have to admit, since I watched it from the passenger seat of an ambulance I pushed the button to close the window when it started and sat giggling at the people running for cover.
